Ernie Rose was King of the B Racing Runabouts. Ernie’s first race was at the Sacramento River. I remember that because my dad, Eddie Silva, told me that both he and Ernie started their first race at Sacramento in 1952. They were racing friends for over 20 years. The last time I saw Lll’ Bee was at Lake Minden, when Norman brought her to a vintage event. I did not know the 28-B was now in the Seattle Museum.
