Hello-
I’m trying to make sense of this “boat for sale” description, no date (sometime after 1956) in documents associated with boats owned by Henry J. Kaiser.
Your site shows Restless II and III, but how does this boat fit in?
Thanks for any help.

Two articles mention Restless:
– On the Lesliefield.com website, “1954 Mapes Mile-High Gold Cup; Lake Tahoe, CA, September 11-12, 1954” which as a reprint of a Sea and Pacific Motor Boat article of November 1954. Its headline in the 1954 publication was “Mile High Regatta at Tahoe.” The race was won by Henry J. Kaiser’s Scooter. The article includes this sentence, “Kaiser’s other boat, the smaller Restless, was hopelessly outrun in the first heat and withdrew.” The article includes a listing of results for the six entrants. It shows Restless as finishing in sixth-and-last place. Link: http://www.lesliefield.com/races/1954_mapes_milehigh_gold_cup.htm.
(An article on The Hydroplane & Raceboat Museum website, “Scooter (U-12) – The Forgotten Thunderboat,” identifies one of two 7-liter entrants in the 1954 Mapes race as Ruthless II, driven by Ken St. Oegger. It says Ruthless II finished sixth. Link: http://thunderboats.ning.com/page/scooter-u-12-the-forgotten-thunderboat.)
– On The Hydroplane & Raceboat Museum website, “1955 Lake Tahoe Mapes Trophy.” The article says Restless was one of “a trio of 7-Litre Class hydroplanes” in the race. It says “Barney Novarro in Restless” was fourth and last running of five boats in Heat 1. It says Restless finished fourth overall, “Restless was next with a fourth, a fifth, and a third” in the three heats.
