ROAD RUNNER Y-88

The ROAD RUNNER Y-88 was built by Bill Clark and Hap Mulvaney. Bill Clack did the basic hull and Hap built the sponsons and everything else. There are several 1/3 scale models being built in Florida, but there are not enough in operation to have an official race. I have a partially built 1/3 scale model of my original Ingram hull sitting beside me just waiting for more time to work on it. Power is from a G23 Zenoah engine radio controlled by a Futaba AM radio. Prop is modified Octura V 967. Top speed so far is 58 MPH on GPS. So far, about 200 man hours including paint and graphics.
