New Martinville, West
Virginia
A beautiful, original 1953 Lauterbach owned
by Mike Steffick on display in front of the courthouse in downtown New
Martinsville, West Virgina. To everyone's knowledge, this is the oldest
Lauterbach still in existence. Apparently it has only been run once and
still has the original flathead V-8 Mercury motor with four carburetors.
Also on display at this race at New Martinsville, was Dan Joseph's Little
Fission, a conventional 145 we saw at Clayton last year. |
