JS-25 Permission 'GRANT'ed

The boat is owned by Dave Grant from Orlando, FL and Grand Island, NY. 
It is a 1980 Jersey Speed Skiff designed by Dave (SKED) Parakevas and built by J&S Fiberglass Specialties.
It is a direct drive and powered by a 350 Chevy.




Racing History

It was originally built for Kerry Krieger, Jupiter FL as an orange and black gelcoat hull and named Lack of Class, JS-13 and later sold to Walt Beasley with no name and the number JS-526.


 
 

Bruce Hardy from Hewitt, NJ later purchased the boat and renamed it TOMKAT JS-526 and had the big Garfield cat painted on the bow.

It was later owned by Brian Chaplin 1985 and Charles Cron from 1990 to 1995

 
 

Bill Funk purchased the boat in 1995, repainted it blue and white, changed the number to JS-25 and renamed it Spare Parts Too

Bob Burns purchased the boat in 2000 and retained the number and name, JS-25 Spare Parts Too.


 
VINTAGE

Bill DeGlopper purchased the boat in 2002.
He retained the number JS-25 but renamed the boat Hot Ticket
to run on the vintage circuit.



JS-25 Permission 'GRANT'ed
Dave Grant purchased the boat in 2004, retained the number JS-25 and changed the name to Permission ‘Grant’ed,
named after his grandson Grant. The boat has run in several east coast Vintage events including Tavares, FL in 2020.
