After a career spanning 19 years, 5 owners and hundreds of races, the Bad Habit was found in a warehouse in 2004 by Joe Schulte and restored to its original condition.

Bad Habit was purchased by Dave Jackson and now finds its home in New Martinsville, WV, hometown to Hydroplane racing since 1938. The boat is now driven at Vintage events in memory of Rick Beatty, who as an avid vintage hydroplane enthusiast was responsible for getting her and several other vintage hydroplanes back on the water after many years of sitting it storage.
