The motor is based on a Dart 4.6" bore Big M block. Pudgy Byrd of Top Gun Racing Engines built the motor utilizing a 5% under/over driven Dyers blower. Dyrer spec'd the motor's internals to produce 1100 hp on pump gas and still 5% under-driven. Dart heads, Comp Cam, Oliver Rods JE Pistons, Jesel Valve Rockers, Akerly / Childs Rings, 2- 750 Quick Fuel Blower Carbs, Krytonite Crank. The original Motor was a Supercharged Chrysler 392 running Methanol, owned and driven by Jug Kelley.

Very little is known about any race wins or possible records. Jug Kelley was a showman in his time and was known to drive in a T-shirt or bare chested to flaunt his body building.
