Ontario Place, Toronto 2000

Bill DeGlopper - Century 21 Special Y-3
Hal LeDuc - Opechee F-222
The Y-3 is a 1979 Kelson,  previously owned & driven by Steve David. He won over 50 races with this hydroplane. It retired as the 850 world record holder for the KILO, setting the record in 1981 in Moorehaven, Florida. at 102.263. It was never broken and the class has long since been discontinued. I restored it and Jim Appley (original engine builder) redid the Sunbeam Imp engine.  The Opechee is owned by Hal LeDuc, of Michigan. The site was Ontario Place, Toronto. A small show sponsored by the Antique Museum. Mahogany Harbour located at Ontario Place.
