years raced | 1955 - 1961 1955-60 Wise Brothers 1960-66 George English 1961 George English ran for the mile record in 1961, avg 99.8 mph on the 101 mph record. (not official) The boat was campaigned as Flying Debris it's entire career. Wise family ran again, once in 1971 at Dayton, but was no longer competitive. It was then retired to a barn until 2003, when I took possession. |
