44 cubic inches / 85 HP approx. Engine originally built by Reeder-Remund of La Mirada, California. This decal is still on the engine valve cover. Full race to 48 cu. in. class rules. standard Amal motorcycle carbs used in the 1950's/60's for this class.  Engine maintained throughout its' racing life by Darrel Olson (Long Beach, CA).

Built & always owned/raced by Darrel Olson. When first raced with varnished deck number was 58-Y. Around 1969-70 deck was fiberglassed and painted white with red trim and number was changed to 48-Y. According to Bob Foley (Full House Mouse Y-116) this was one of the more competitive 48's on the southern California circuit.
