Here's a few pictures on Saturday and Sunday at Lake Spanaway with
my 1st outing with the Avenger A-30 150 cu in hydroplane. Everything
went smoothly and received a lot of great comments on the boats restoration.
The engine is very strong and has a lot of torque. The hydro takes off
quickly and jumps up on plane very fast. The gearbox and propellor combination
are perfect for this boat. I am very pleased. Thanks to Fred Shearer, Phil
Mitchell and Bob Lechner for a beautiful restoration of a great vintage
hydroplane from the past and to my crew - Jeffrey my oldest son, and his
wife Susan and my friend Larry for their help this weekend.
